TECHNOLOGY AS A TOOL FOR GROWTH

As railcar fleet lessors and managers, we are called upon to supply a reliable fleet of cars to our customers while controlling costs.  In many cases, this important challenge is made even more difficult by the lack of timely and useful information.  In order to better manage its fleet, we integrated car information and accounting records.

This allows multiple computers to share resources with modem, transfer files between workstations, and it creates a historical file for repairs and maintenance to our fleet of railcars.

• Designing a multi-level corporate interconnecting information system that will interface with our divisions and the Excel Mexican Subsidiary.  

• In order to better manage its fleet by integrating car information and accounting records, EXCEL implemented the automation of all its systems.
